This Privacy Policy explains how AIAC Inc. ("AIAC", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with Activity Console (the "Service"), our client engagement platform available at activityconsole.com and its related subdomains and applications. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Contents
1. Who this applies to
Activity Console is used by businesses ("Account Owners") to manage their own leads, customers, and communications. This policy covers:
- Account Owners and their staff who sign in to and use the Service.
- Visitors to our public websites.
- End customers whose information an Account Owner stores in or sends through the Service.
When an Account Owner uses Activity Console to process information about their own customers, the Account Owner is responsible for that information and for having a lawful basis to collect and contact those individuals. We process that information on the Account Owner's behalf.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account and contact details such as name, business name, email address, phone number, and billing information.
- Content you enter into the Service, including contacts, notes, messages, appointments, and files.
- Messages you send to us for support or inquiries.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies, as described below.
Information from Account Owners
- Where an Account Owner adds an end customer's contact details to the Service, we receive and store that information to provide the Service.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- Send transactional and account messages, such as confirmations, reminders, and replies.
- Process billing and payments.
- Respond to support requests and communicate about the Service.
- Protect the security and integrity of the Service and prevent abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Text messaging (SMS)
The Service can send and receive text messages on behalf of Account Owners. Where text messaging is used:
- Individuals receive messages because they provided their mobile number to a business and consented to be contacted, or because the message is a transactional message related to a service they requested.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and can request help by replying HELP.
5. Email communications
We and Account Owners may send email for account, transactional, and service purposes. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out of non-essential email at any time. We may still send essential account and security messages while your account is active.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Service, and understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work properly without them.
7. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers. Trusted vendors that host infrastructure, deliver messages, process payments, and provide similar functions, under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing those services.
- Account Owners. Information an end customer shares with a business is available to that business within its own console.
- Legal and safety. Where required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Account Owners can request deletion of their data as described below.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to receive a copy of your information. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@activityconsole.com. If your information is held by an Account Owner using the Service, we may refer your request to that business and assist them in responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
